One of the things I thought was crazy and hard was eating well. I had friends and family who were into gluten free, organic everything, whole 30, and a ton of other random diets.
I thought diets were crazy. I grew up thinking diets were a negative thing for someone who had gained too much weight. I didn’t understand them and from what I had seen, most people didn’t stick with them for very long. They weren’t something that had longterm effects.
I didn’t know what I would do if I ever needed a diet, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to stick with it.
After completing my first workout program from start to finish, I learned that what I ate didn’t have to fit into any particular limitations as long as I ate foods that fueled my body with the nutrients I need and stayed away from buying a lot of processed foods that have a lot of random ingredients in them.
Now that I’ve learned a few simple tips that have improved my health and how I feel, I put them together on a little cheat sheet so you can save it to your phone or print it out and take it with you to the grocery. I’ve included a meal planning tip, grocery shopping guide, a not on how to get started to eating healthier, and a list of my must have items.
